Details
The pleated fabric shade spreads a soft, diffused glow over the nightstand instead of a hard spot of light, which suits the last hour of the evening. The tapered cone base is wood. Choose a pale natural color for light rooms, or the walnut color for warmer, darker schemes around the bed. The walnut-color base and the lit shade give a corner a quiet focal point after dark, on a nightstand, a console or a side table.
- The pleated fabric shade softens the light from the bulb inside.
- The lamp is 13.8" across the shade and 19.7" tall.
- The tapered wood base comes in natural or walnut color; an LED bulb is included.
Questions
How big is the pleated wood lamp?
It measures 13.8" across the shade and stands 19.7" tall. The shade is the widest part, so the nightstand, console or side table needs room for a shade nearly 14" wide.
What bulb does the pleated wood lamp use?
The socket takes an E27-base bulb, and an LED bulb is included with the lamp. The listing does not state the wattage or the color temperature of that bulb.
How is the pleated wood lamp powered and switched?
It has a plug-in cord for a standard US outlet and turns on and off at the lamp. The listing does not state the cord length, so plan for an outlet close to where the lamp will stand.
Is there anything to know before ordering?
The lamp is not dimmable; it turns on and off at the lamp and there is no brightness setting. Natural and walnut are the two colors of the wood base, and both come with the same pleated fabric shade.
