Details
This pendant is a small globe of natural marble on a black cord. When it is lit, the light glows through the stone and shows the veining from within. Seen close and unlit, the globe shows its material: white marble with dark veining, under a dark cap where the cord meets the stone. This is a hardwired light: it is wired in at the ceiling, under a canopy 3.9" across, when it is installed, a job normally done by an electrician.
- The globe is natural marble stone, and the light glows through it.
- The globe is 4.7" across and hangs on an adjustable cord from a 3.9" canopy.
- It is hardwired at the ceiling and takes one G9 bulb, not included.
Questions
How big is the marble globe pendant?
The globe is 4.7" across and the ceiling canopy is 3.9" across. The cord is adjustable, so the hanging height is set when the pendant is installed. Photos that show two pendants are separate orders; each order is one pendant.
What is the marble globe pendant made of?
The globe is natural marble stone, with a dark cap at the top, and the light glows through the stone when it is on. In the photos the stone is white with dark veining. Marble is natural, so the veining and depth of color differ from piece to piece.
Is a bulb included, and how is the marble globe pendant powered?
A bulb is not included. The pendant takes one G9 bulb, and the color of the light depends on the bulb you fit. It is hardwired at the ceiling, with no plug, and the stated input is 90-260V, a range that includes 120V. Hardwired fixtures are normally installed by an electrician.
Is there anything to know before ordering?
The pendant is not dimmable. No damp or wet-location rating is stated for it, so it is for dry indoor rooms. The stone you receive will have its own veining and will not match the photos exactly. Each order is one pendant.
